Your Shyness In My Face.

Updated: Apr 17

Wednesday 12th April 2023

You are veiled beyond visibility,

a cached context cloaked in camoflague.

I didn't recognize this initially.

I found you intense, dominating and needlessly needy.

Demanding and Dark behind desire.

A zany zingy, boisterous puppy,

hiding intense pain and sorrow.

I pet the puppy as it thrusts it's wet nose in my face.

I see now this is not how you feel inside.

How you present to the mirror of life.

Sweet, annoying, soft and consuming of time, bandwidth and love.

Your Shyness in my face

If I see you, really peel back the masquerade.

I know we are more alike than we can ever truly understand.
