Little Black Dog

Thursday 20th April 2023

Such a sweet little thing,

Snuggled up in your blanket.

Snuffling with contented noises.

Surfacing only to stare at the door.

Or slowly eating your dinner.

Flecks of white on your Ears lift high

when my shoes go on by the door.

Such a sweet little black dog.
