Dirty Horticulturaluralist

18th June 2023

It's my dirty summer habit.

I can't be trusted going to the plant nursery.

Like all my hyper habits,

I become obsessed in the spring

The perennials poke their new growth

Peeking up and out the soil.

Not everything makes it over the winter.

Some beds are no good

So gaps appear in the earth.

They need filling.

It's a dirty habit indeed.

I promise I will only buy compost.

Put pots in my trolly, then back on the shelf.

When I get home I have three new roses.

Dirty, expensive horticultural habit.
