Dead Baby Bobbins

1of 3 robins will survive.

Three broods a year.

Two dead baby Robins,

Floating in a bucket.

From nest to drowning.

Such a short brief life.

Nature is a cruel mistress.

I cried so hard.

The mother in me aligning

With the parents.

Phil laughed at their little stiff bodies,

"They look like synronized swimmers"

One surviour lives.
